An educational web app for streaming movies from torrents. Developed as a school project to practice skills in front-end development and React.
For a school project, I developed Flux, a web app that allows streaming movies from torrents. The goal of the project was to practice my skills in front-end development, React, and client-side streaming while creating a functional user experience.
The application offers a user-friendly interface for browsing and streaming movies, with complete film information such as title, year, and ratings. Users can save their favorite movies to a watchlist and select the desired resolution per movie.
An advanced search bar allows searching by title, description, genre, directors, and more. Additionally, there's an extensive browse page with various filters to find the perfect movie. An important feature of Flux is that the website is completely ad-free - users can simply watch movies without being interrupted by advertisements.
Important: This project was created solely for educational purposes. The torrent-streaming functionality is a technical concept and can be tested with royalty-free content.
